Ms. Willis brings nearly thirty years of organizational management expertise to The Freeland Group, both within the private and public sectors. As a Principal at the architectural firm of TRA she has worked on consulting projects which have included subjects as diverse as the Landing Craft Air Cushion quality control project at Camp Pendleton, California, the Port of San Diego’s airport expansion project, and the Washington State Patrol Headquarters in Olympia. She served seven years as the Executive Director of the Washington Council of the American Institute of Architects, has served as a Congressional Assistant, and a Special Assistant Congressional Liaison to the U.S. Fire Administration/Federal Emergency Management Agency. Ms. Willis has been a member of the Washington Council on International Trade, the Seattle International Trade Alliance, and the Seattle/Taejon Sister City Association. She is currently active in work with the World Trade Center. Ms. Willis received her Bachelors of Science from Sam Houston University, Texas, her Masters degree from the University of Washington, and her Administration Certificate from the University of Puget Sound. In keeping with her committment to higher education, Ms. Willis has been appointed by Washington State Governor Gary Locke to the Board of Trustees of Pierce College. |
