With over 25 years of management experience, Mr. Gundersen has served in the manufacturing, distribution and service industries. Since arriving in Redmond in 1987, he has served as Division Controller, Corporate Controller and CFO in leading local companies like SpaceLabs Medical and Spectrum Controls (high-tech), Sunmar Shipping (maritime transportation) and Hartung Glass Industries (fabrication and distribution). Previously, he spent six years in the oil exploration company, GECO Geophysical Co. in Houston, and six years with IBM in Oslo, Norway. Born and raised in Bergen, Norway, Mr. Gundersen earned his undergraduate business degree in Industrial and Labor Relations from California State University at Fresno and an MBA in Finance and Planning from the University of Washington. He is a Certified Management Accountant and an active member of University of Washington Alumni Association and the Eastside chapter of the Institute of Management Accountants. Hans is currently on the faculty of the University of Phoenix teaching classes in Accounting and Finance Management. |
