Mr. Barnes has thirty-five years of management and consulting experience in both the public and private sectors. In his decade with government he advised law makers, county departments, and state agencies on matters of economics and taxation. He aided in the long term design and implementation of economic plans and prepared forecasts on the effects of taxing policies.
As an organizational specialist and analyst, Mr. Barnes completed investigative work on the costs and operations of government departments. In the last decade Mr. Barnes has completed analysis and consulting projects for public and private organizations throughout the U.S. and Canada. He earned his Masters in Business Administration, with emphasis in multi-national marketing, at the University of Puget Sound.
Mr. Barnes is a widely published business author, with articles appearing in magazines and trade journals throughout North America. For eight years he was the monthly columnist on Sales and Marketing for Materials Handling Wholesaler magazine. His book “Marketing Matters” is distributed through Amazon and Barnes & Noble and is used in a number of business schools.
He has served on the faculties of the University of Phoenix and City University teaching graduate courses in Marketing, Public Relations, and Advertising and has been a sales trainer for a major national bank.
